Cardio Run 2023

On Saturday, October 21, 2023, the city of Palaio Faliro in Attica will host a spectacular sports event that will bring together people of all ages. The event includes three different road races with various distances, all of which are for a good cause.

The race will start from the courtyard of the Olympic Center TAE KWON DO, a modern facility that provides all the amenities for athletes. Everyone, regardless of age, will be accommodated in Palaio Faliro, Attica for an unforgettable sports event.

The starting times for the competitions are as follows:

• 3-kilometer race: Start at 16:30

• Children’s 1000-meter race: Start at 17:00

•  8-kilometer race: Start at 17:15

It’s worth noting that this race is organized for a humanitarian purpose. The proceeds from the race will be used to purchase defibrillators, which will be installed in remote areas of our country, Greece. In this way, the race combines physical activity with humanitarian contribution, promoting health and supporting the sense of community.

It is also well-known that running has many health benefits. Among other things, it increases levels of good cholesterol, improves lung function, strengthens the immune system, and reduces the risk of blood clots. Additionally, it can help reduce the risk of heart problems and boost self-confidence and self-esteem.

This race is not just a sporting event but a way to support our health, community, and humanitarian cause. By doing so, we relieve ourselves of stress and enhance our physical and mental well-being by running with our hearts… for our hearts.
