Belles Historic Trail

The Mountaineering Club of Neos Petritsio, as part of promoting healthy living and showcasing the natural beauty of the area, is organizing a series of running and hiking races for all ages and difficulty levels on Saturday, April 27-28, 2024.

The event includes the following races:

• Belles Historic Trail: A 22-kilometer route with a positive elevation gain of 1340 meters.

• Sultanitsa Trail Run: An 8-kilometer race with a positive elevation gain of 502 meters.

• Neos Petritsio Run: A 5-kilometer route with a positive elevation gain of 59 meters.

• Riko Kids Run: A 1-kilometer children’s race.

The 22-kilometer route starts and finishes at the central square of Neos Petritsio, offering participants a unique hiking experience in nature. With elevations ranging from 55 meters to 1,100 meters, participants will discover the beauty of Geraneia.

The organization and the main mountain races (Belles Historic Trail & Sultanitsa Trail Run) are included in the ITRA National League 2024, offering athletes the opportunity to earn points and recognition in the world of mountaineering sports.

Neos Petritsio is a village with a rich history and natural beauty. Participants will have the opportunity to explore the area and enjoy the race in a unique environment.
