Polylofos Run

The Cultural Association of Polylophos Messinia, in collaboration with the Municipality of Messini, is pleased to announce the organization of the “Polylophos Run” Road and Power Walking Races. The races will include 10 km, 5 km, and 1000 m routes and will take place around the community of Polylophos.

The “Polylophos Run” will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024, starting and finishing in the central square of Polylophos. The event program is as follows:

• 16:30: Opening of the Secretariat in the central square of Polylophos to deliver race packages (number and timing chip).

• 19:00: Start of the 10 km race.

• 19:05: Start of the 5 km race.

• 19:10: Start of the 1000 m race.

• 20:45: End of finishers.

• 20:30: Awards ceremony for the winners.

• 20:45: Treats in the central square with local products.

The race routes are mixed, including asphalt and dirt roads. The purpose of the event is to promote physical activity that improves health and quality of life, as well as to highlight the natural beauty of the area.

The name “Polylophos” comes from the many small hills in the area, which ensure vast views and create an idyllic landscape. We invite everyone to participate in the races and enjoy the natural beauty of our area.
